The mission of the Golf Course Owners of Wisconsin (GCOW) is to provide education and advocacy on behalf of its members and to promote golf throughout the state of Wisconsin. The GCOW, established as a non-profit association in 1984, is a member of the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA). It is governed by an elected board of directors.
The GCOW is an association that supports the golf course owners and operators in the State of Wisconsin. By representing and working on behalf of Wisconsin's courses, we serve to promote, protect and educate its members of all sizes.

We aspire to provide many benefits for golf course owners including:
-- provide savings on member-only programs
-- provide networking opportunities and a chance to learn new ideas and work with their peers
-- to keep courses informed of trends, regulatory and legislative issues
-- to work with the Wisconsin Department of Tourism to support our member courses
In addition, by becoming a member of the GCOW, all courses also become members of the National Golf Course Owners Association
NGCOA and receive all the benefits they provide such as Smart Buy Programs, LIST SERVE and many more programs and services.

Through its
Associate Member Program, GCOW supports the essential relationship between golf course owners and golf-related businesses and individuals throughout the state. Substantial savings can be realized by GCOW members by utilizing these Associate members.
